Organic Acids Test (OAT)

Tomorrow I'm doing the Organic Acids Test (OAT) sample. This initial screening test is used to...
  • Evaluate energy production
  • Assess central nervous system function
  • Evaluate integrity of intestinal wall
  • Reveal high levels of GI yeast and bacteria
  • Detect nutritional and antioxidant deficiencies
  • Determine problems in fatty acid metabolism
  • Identify excess oxalate
I'm hoping this will reveal something all the doctors have missed regarding the link between all my health problems. If I were rich and had an extra $200, I could have our oxalate guru, Susan Owens, analyze this test for oxalate markers and then discuss with me via Skype. Since I don't have that kind of money, hopefully my other doctors can interpret the results well enough to come to some kind of useful conclusion about what I should be eating, supplementing, taking for meds, etc. If it doesn't show anything, then I guess it will all remain a mystery. We'll see!
